Gaining many more talents with the heart of Mother -WMSCOG-

God’s children(Members of World Mission Society Church of God) we have to evangelize!

Preaching is something that we can do when we have the heart of Mother.

Finding Bible verses fast and easily and delivering them to others─this is not everything we should do.

If we do not take care of the world with the heart of Mother, it proves that we still fait to understand the true meaning of the gospel.

When we give God’s love to all people in the world with the heart of Mother, only then can we say that we are preaching the gospel.

Let us think about whether or not we have been preaching the gospel with the same heart as that of Mother.

We must not forget the fact that we can bear abundant fruit of the gospel when we feed our brothers and sisters, take care of them, humble ourselves and serve them with the heart of Mother.

Gaining many more talents with the heart of Mother

 

The ultimate way to accomplish the gospel is to learn the heart of Mother and have it.

If we do so, we can bear fruit and each of us can be changed into a person full of love, as Jesus said, ” A new command I give you: Love one another”(Jn 13:34).

 

Php 2:5-11 『In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:  Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.  And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!  Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow… and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.』

 

To save the children who have flesh and blood, God Himself came to this earth.

Though He has the authority and power to command all His creation, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death, taking the very nature of a servant and being made in human likeness.

Although no one esteemed Him, He silently walked the thorny path of the cross, being beaten with rods and pierced with thorns(Heb 2:14-15,Isa 53:1-12).

This mind of Christ is basically the same as that of Mother.

Christ(Father Ahnsahnghong) humbled Himself, obeyed, serve other and endured everthing─all these virtues are contained in the heart of Mother.

Now, shouldn’t we all learn this heart of Mother?

 

Mt 25:14-12 『“Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey.  The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more.  So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more.  But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.  “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them.  The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. …“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’  “The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said,… I have gained two more.’  “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’』

 

In the parable of talents, Jesus used the expression “put money to work” (“trade,” KJV).

If a business owner makes a good trade, whose nature do you think he or she has, the nature of a father or the nature of a mother?

The father tends not to express his feelings to his children although he is very happy when they come home.

On the contrary, the mother even runs outside his children, but the mother humbles herself and puts others first.

If a shop prospers, there is no doubt that the owner of the shop humbles himself or herself, takes care of his or her customers and shows consideration for them with the heart of a mother.

The owner of the shop that prospers always greets customers gladly whenever they come to his or her shop.

Trying to make them feel comfortable, the owner gives them an extra item for free when they buy something.

Those who run a business cannat be successful if they exalt themselves and assert their authority.

We often see people who engage in business educate their employees under the slogan─”The customer is king.”

This means that they will bumble themselves and serve their customers as kings.

Those who can serve all who come to their shop, though their customers are little children, are truly the people who make a good trade.

 

It is the same spiritually; we, too, will be able to gain many more talents when we humble ourselves and exalt others with the heart of Mother.
